Salaries Above the State Schedule
Certified salaries are aligned above Oklahoma's state salary schedule, with tiers that recognize your education level and verified out-of-state experience.
Retirement, Paid in Full
The district pays 100% of the employee contribution to Teachers' Retirement for eligible staff.
Health Insurance
State-paid health insurance benefit — or salary in lieu of the benefit — for employees working at least 20 hours per week.
Life Insurance Included
$30,000 of life insurance for employees working at least 20 hours per week, at no cost to you.
Generous Leave
Personal days, sick leave, bereavement and emergency leave, plus access to the sick leave bank and FMLA.
Extras That Add Up
A 5% supplement for special education teachers, mentor teacher stipends, extra-duty pay, and an activity pass to local athletic events for you and your spouse.
Pay, Benefits & Leave in Detail
Compensation — Certified Staff
Certified staff salaries are aligned above the State's salary schedule, with a multi-tier structure that recognizes education level and verified out-of-state experience. Special education teachers receive a 5% supplement, and mentor teacher stipends and extra-duty compensation are available. The district pays 100% of the employee's Teachers' Retirement contribution. Employees are paid on a semi-monthly schedule.
Compensation — Support Staff
Support staff are paid semi-monthly according to the negotiated contract, and the district covers the employee retirement contribution for eligible staff.
Leave — Certified Staff
- Three personal days annually
- Three bereavement days
- 10–12 sick days
- Access to the sick leave bank
- Three emergency days
- FMLA eligibility and unpaid leave options
Leave — Support Staff
- Three personal days annually
- Three bereavement days
- Accrued sick leave — one day per month worked
- Access to the sick leave bank

Life Insurance
Employees working a minimum of 20 hours per week receive $30,000 of life insurance. Coverage reduces to $19,500 at age 65 and to $15,000 at age 70.
IRS Section 125 Plan
Payroll deduction options for eligible expenses are available through American Fidelity.
Teachers' Retirement
Oklahoma Teachers' Retirement System membership is provided for all certified staff and is optional for support staff working 20 or more hours per week. Members can check balances, service credit, and retirement estimates in the MyOTRS member portal.
Activity Pass
Employees and their spouse receive an activity pass for admission to local athletic events.

Certified Staff
Staff Systems & Logins
- Frontline Absence Management (Aesop) Report an absence and arrange a substitute online, or by phone at 1-800-942-3767.
- Time Clock Clock in and out through the Veritime time clock.
- Time & Attendance (Support Staff) Timesheets and attendance for support staff. Log in with your Frontline credentials, or use the Frontline mobile app.
- MyOTRS — Teachers' Retirement Portal Check your account balance, service credit, retirement estimates, and 1099 forms.
- Tobacco-Free Attestation HealthChoice members: complete the State's annual tobacco-free attestation by the fall deadline to keep the lower deductible rate.
